Welcome to Scratch Week C! We'll make a Happy Birthday countdown.
1. Go to Variables and create a new one called "Age", for all sprites.
2. Go to sounds and get two: Birthday and Cheer. You'll need both of
those.
3. Go to Sound and make a "Play sound Birthday until done" and put it on
your
code canvas.
4. Under that put a Repeat block and set the repeat number to your age.
5. Inside the repeat:
6. Go to Variables and put a "change Age by 1" inside the repeat.
7. Still inside, go to Looks and put a "say Hello! for 2 seconds" under
that.
Change "Hello!" to "Are you..."
8. Under that put another "say" block and go to Variables, get "Age" and
drag
"Age" over the "Hello!" part.
9. Outside the repeat:
10. Underneath the repeat, go to Sound and get a "Start sound Cheer" and
put
it there.
11. Finally, under that, put a "say" and set "Hello!" to "Happy Birthday!"
If you ever need to reset the age variable, right click it on the
middle-right of your screen and set it to "slider."
