Welcome to Scratch Week A! Here is a quick little program you can make.

1. Open your program:

2. Go to "Looks" and drag and drop "Say Hello! for 2 seconds".

3. Rewrite "Hello!" to "The day is:".

4. Drag and drop another one and attach it underneath.

5. Click on "Sensing". Drag and drop "current year" onto the second say block.

6. Set "year" to "day of week".

7. Repeat steps 2-6 except do it for "month", "date", and "year".

8. Then attach every block together. The block order should be "day of week", "month", "date", and "year".

9. Click on the very first block to make Scratchy say the date.
